    • Talk Talk** est un groupe britannique formé en 1981 à Londres. Mené par Mark Hollis, le groupe a commencé sa carrière dans le courant new wave, mais a progressivement évolué vers des sonorités plus expérimentales et introspectives. Leur musique est désormais largement considérée comme une référence dans le genre post-rock, et leur dernier album, *Laughing Stock*, est souvent cité comme une œuvre clé du genre.

Au début des années 1980, Talk Talk a connu le succès avec des hits comme "It's My Life" et "Such a Shame", mais c'est avec leurs albums plus tardifs, *Spirit of Eden* et *Laughing Stock*, qu'ils ont vraiment trouvé leur place dans l'histoire de la musique. Après la dissolution du groupe en 1991, Mark Hollis a poursuivi une carrière solo avant de se retirer progressivement de la scène musicale.
