'''Kate Bush''' est une chanteuse, compositrice, pianiste et productrice britannique née le 30 juillet 1958.
Elle est connue pour son style vocal unique, ses compositions novatrices et son univers artistique qui mêle poésie, théâtre et expérimentation sonore.

Découverte par [[David Gilmour]] de [[Pink Floyd]], elle sort son premier album en 1978, porté par le single ''Wuthering Heights'', qui devient un immense succès et la propulse au rang de phénomène musical.
Tout au long de sa carrière, Kate Bush s’est imposée comme une figure majeure de la musique, influençant de nombreux artistes contemporains.

Kate Bush est la première femme au Royaume-Uni à atteindre la première place des charts avec une chanson qu’elle a elle-même écrite et composée (''Wuthering Heights'').
Sa carrière se caractérise par des albums conceptuels, des expérimentations avec les technologies d’enregistrement et des performances scéniques théâtrales.
